many new uploads to CPAN as possible. See

No tests defined for Apache::mod_perl_guide extension.
But no matter, because make and make install work fine.
My note on v1.24 was wrong so i'm correcting it here. If the
target dir doesn't exist, make will create it:
Directory /usr/local/apache/htdocs/mod_perl_guide doesn't exist. \
Create it? (y/n) : [y] y
I re-tested and saw that this was also the case for v1.24 ...
