I had naively assumed that the perl being used while testing would be the one picked up by SearchPath. In this case it would appear that %Path% has a different installation at a hight precedence. Could you please send me the value of your %Path% variable to confirm? (In cmd.exe, type 'path' - I'm sure you know that, but just in case....)
Test 7:
Me being naive again. I thought that config.pl was in everyone's perl directory. Could you confirm that there is no config.pl in C:\perl\5826ED~1.5\bin\perl.exe ?
