I cannot be completely sure but looking at the list of recent CPAN updates I noticed that HTML::CalendarMonth 1.13 was uploaded around the time HTML::ElementTable was uploaded. I'm guessing ::ElementTable was tested before the the index was updated to point ::CalendarMonth to the 1.13 distribution (I believe this happens once a day). In such cases, you will have to wait a day or so until you upload the second module to make sure that testers will find the required version.

Thanks, Jeroen. That's pretty much what I suspected, since I did indeed upload both modules within an hour or so of one another. My gut feeling is that there should be some logic in the dependency resolution that realizes when a specified version is not actually available as of yet -- that way the test could be deferred until the indices caught up. (that'd probably be nasty, however, since I'm sure it relies on the normal dependency chain...or is this a feature-vs-bug thing, even during normal operations?)

Cheers,
Matt

P.S. I should be joining your ranks soon with some alternate architectures.
