Hey! I didn't say that! ;-)
I registered my module through PAUSE.cpan.org. I got an email back
shortly thereafter saying the registration was approved, and it shows up on
search.cpan.org as a registered module.

I don't think I should wait for a module to be registered before
uploading? The very first time I registered a module, I got an email from
one of the module list moderators asking me to upload the module to CPAN so
he could have a look... since then, I've always registered and uploaded at
the same time.
I notice that this email is going out to [email protected] as
well. My impression was that cpan-testers was a mailing list that automated
test reports got emailed out to, and therefore had a high noise:signal
ratio. If the automated test reports *don't* go there, I'd like to join this
list as well.
