Ok all test pass but I see a switch that isn't tested on all
platform:
I think there is someting to do with -m switch of syslog:
-m interval
The syslogd logs a mark timestamp regularly. The
default interval between two -- MARK -- lines is 20
minutes. This can be changed with this option.
Setting the interval to zero turns it off entirely.
This giving lines like this:
Jan 24 23:03:05 pluton -- MARK --
To ignore this line without warning, a patch can be:
