While all of them might be caused by the same underlying error, please note that different parts of the string are missing, making it very likely that this is some form of random memory corruption. While the workaround would be to copy the string, it should really be reported and fixed in perl (or whatever causes that). Could be (for example, buggy version of Tk (almost any :)) or corruption elsewhere, just causing no output.
