Dear Patrick Galbraith,

This is a computer-generated error report created automatically by

******************************** NOTE ********************************
The comments above are created mechanically, possibly without manual
checking by the sender. As there are many people performing automatic
tests on each upload to CPAN, it is likely that you will receive
identical messages about the same problem.

If you believe that the message is mistaken, please reply to the first
one with correction and/or additional informations, and do not take
it personally. We appreciate your patience. :)

Additional comments:

I'm not sure what's going on here, but just in case I tried running
the SQL statement in t/80procs.t around line 105 directly in the
mysql client:

create procedure testproc() deterministic
  begin
    declare a,b,c,d int;
    set a=1;
    set b=2;
    set c=3;
    set d=4;
    select a, b, c, d;
    select d, c, b, a;
    select b, a, c, d;
    select c, b, d, a;
  end

which gives:

"ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check
the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the
right syntax to use near 'int' at line 3"

but it says nothing about access privilege problems. I haven't used
mysql stored procedures at all and it's late so it might just be
a pilot error. :-)

anyway,

this is mysql server version "5.0.32-Debian_3 Debian etch distribution",
DBI v1.43 on debian.
