I was rather afraid that there was no central point that had the information necessary to make that decision, but if there is then that seems a sensible solution. Resending it after a suitable interval (a month or so) might be an idea if you want to lean on the recalcitrant authors out there ;-) Sorry if my original message seemed a bit OTT but when I got a third copy my thermostat blew a fuse.
