Can you do the version checking during <perl Makefile.PL> or > <make all>?
I just released a version with that. he problem was that Robin sent out a badly broken 0.41 (few tests => no early warning) and then went to TPC and did other busy, busy things for a week, so I had to prevent folks who had haplessly upgraded to the latest and greatest and shove them back down to 0.39. The Makefile also warned about it, FWIW. All should be water over the dam now, I hope. - Barrie > > -----Original Message----- > From: Barrie Slaymaker [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 7:18 PM > To: Automated Perl Test Account > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: FAIL XML-SAX-Machines-0.37 i386-linux 2.4.16-6mdksmp > > > I think this is self explanatory :). > > > t/00xsw_version......... > > ** WARNING **** WARNING **** WARNING **** WARNING **** WARNING **** > WARNING ** > > > > XML::SAX::Writer v0.41 is too buggy for production > > use, please upgrade if a new one is available or downgrade to 0.39. > > > > # Failed test 1 in t/00xsw_version.t at line 21 > > FAILED test 1 > > Failed 1/1 tests, 0.00% okay >
