Greetings,
and thanks for testing our module.
uuhhm .. as far as I checked every module in our source tree
goes accompanied by a 'test.pl' or a 't/1.t' doing more or
less what you are describing for a 't/use.t' .
Also I tested both to compile this release whith 'make && make test && make install'
and 'perl -MCPAN -e "install Zoidberg"' whithout errors(*).
Also the error reads: 'No tests defined for -0.1targz extension.' but
i can not find any file in our tree even matching the string '-0.1targz'.
Could you please explane to me in more detail how such an error can occure
and what I should do to prevent it. On the moment I do not see how my
make files cause this problem. Is this CPANPLUS specific or something ?
If it is what is the difference with the CPAN module system for make and
test files ?
Thanks on forehand,
Jaap Karssenberg
*) Well actually as I see now there is one error in the cpan method
but this only shows after cpan has ended and does not seem to influence
the proper installation of all zoidberg modules:
---
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/.cpan/build/Zoidberg/Trog'
/usr/bin/make test -- OK
Running make install
Already done
CPAN.pm panic: deep recursion in color_cmd_tmps depth[100]
self[CPAN::Module=HASH(0x9138b2c)] id[Zoidberg::PdParse]
---
Could anyone tell me what this is ?
