The reverse is true. perl5.00505 is the newest perl available:

If you don't plan to support perl5.005, then it's probably best to put
something like "use 5.006" into your Makefile.PL. In this case the
cpantesters modules would not send a FAIL but rather N/A or UNKNOWN.
