same failure on cygwin, reported by alain, but no more output..
alain, can you try what autrijus suggested?

If I try make test TEST_VERBOSE=1 in command line, no more errors is done. So I hack CPANPLUS/Internal/Make.pm to push "TEST_VERBOSE=1" in @args of make test and have ... not really more informations:
