Tony,
I've tested versions 0.08 and 0.12 with Perl 5.8.8 and 5.10.0 and
receive the same results in all cases. I'm not familiar with the module
so I'm not sure how to test it further.

This is very strange. I can't replicate this at all. I don't have a
perl 5.10 available to see if something has changed that might be
causing this, but I've had no other reports of this problem.
Anything further you can glean on this?
