Ok, I must confess I only checked the beta package in http://sourceforge.net/projects/boost/files/boost/1.40.0.beta.1/boost_1_40_0_beta1.tar.gz/download and noticed it wasn't there, so I assumed it wasn't in the release branch. But now I see that this package was uploaded on Aug 10th, so that's why it didn't have the changes. Thanks!
