Yeah, unfortunately cpp-netlib is known to be broken on compilers that are older than GCC 4.4 (I'm not sure about 4.3) because of the template tricks the asynchronous server implementation uses. My target is to make it work on 4.1.2 so that others with older versions of GCC can use it. Thanks for the report, I'll see if I can address this on 0.8.1 and 0.9.
