Just to let you know that the Membership tool from CPSCore is no more instantiated in a CPS portal. It is rather now a CPSDefault Membership tool, which inherits from the CPSCore one, which is instantiated and used.
Since the CPSDefault Membership tool is higher level than the previous one it is possible to make it do more things. One direct improvement from this change is that is now possible to reset one's lost password by providing either one's email address or one's username, while previously it was only possible to do this by providing one's username. But technophobic people not only forget their password, they forget their username too. Only their email address they remember for sure.
It is now also possible to reset at the same time the password for many accounts sharing the same email address. The password is then the same for all those accounts.
On a CPS from a fresh cvs update, try http://localhost:8080/cps/account_lost_password_form
