Here is some notes (problems + solutions) after a successful upgrade...
Initial Version : Zope 2.7.4 + CPS 3.3 SVN (before 3.3.2, CPSCore
3.20.0)
Target Version : Zope 2.7.6 + CPS 3.3.5
1/ System Error (caused by portal_url)

Solution:
./bin/zopectl stop && ./bin/zopectl debug
>>> from Products.CPSDefault.Extensions.upgrade import upgradeURLTool
>>> upgradeURLTool(app.cps)
'portal_url upgraded'
>>> get_transaction().commit()
2/ Running cpsupdate
CPSUpdate complains about a UnicodeDecodeError somewhere in the
Catalog Update.
Solution: Go to portal_catalog > Advanced and run Update Catalog
3/ Error in CPSPortlets
Attribute Error: cache_parameter
Solution: go to portal_quickinstaller and run Reinstall for CPSPortlets
4/ Error on CPSBlog Portlet
Attribute Error: search_limit
Solution :
- go to portal_quickinstaller and run Reinstall on CPSBlog
- go to portal_cpsportlets > Rebuild and run Rebuild Portlets.
Then everything seems OK ! :-)
I think cpsupdate should run those thing automatically (specially for
Rebuild Portlets).
