You use a macro. The main macro for CPS is called
main_template/macros/master. You put your content into a slot named "main".
So, a minimal page would be something like this:
<html metal:use-macro="here/main_template/macros/master">
<metal:main fill-slot="main">
Hello world! <-- This will be the main content
</metal:main>
</html>
