This looks fine. > there is also a nxlucene directory. Inside this directory there is also: > PyLucene.py > PyLucene.pyc > _PyLucene.so > and > PyLucene.pyo well not with latest releases of NXLucene. I don't ship the PyLucene binaries along anymore. Be sure to use the latest release : http://www.cps-project.org/sections/projects/nxlucene/downloads/nxlucene-0-6-3-1 > > in /usr/lib/zope2.9/lib/python2.4/site-packages i have: > PyLucene.py > PyLucene.pyc > _PyLucene.so > and no nxlucene directory No need to install nxlucecne within the Zope-2.9 tree. NXLucene is a standalone server. On the CPS stack you will need : http://svn.nuxeo.org/pub/Zope3/nuxeo.lucene http://svn.nuxeo.org/pub/CPS3/products/CPSLuceneCatalog/ > is this look right so far? > what else should i be looking at? Can you check the interpreter within the runnxlucene script ? This is setup to "#!/usr/bin/env python2.4" by default. You may want to change this to the right interpretor. I didn't find the time to have a proper configure and the packaging is not done yet for NXLucene. If you wanna help I would be really happy about that since I have hard time finding time to finish this right now... Thank you for trying out NXLucene. I'd be really happy to get feedbacks from your experience.
