Hi,

In (your cps instance)->portal_skins there's a folder called "custom", if
you're using CPS 3.4 it should be there, unless it has been deleted.

However, if you can't find it, go to portal_skins and add a new "Folder" object
with id "custom" then go to portal_skins->Properties (tab) and in the lists of
skins preference add "custom" in the first line.

Then go to the "custom" folder, and in the list of addable objects select "Page
Template" and click add.

The page template (zpt) I supplied shows "Hello [name and surname of the logged
user]", so I think it will meet your needs.

If you want to create a pluggable product of your own, take a look at the
example MyProject in
http://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/pub/browser/CPS3/examples/MyProject. Specifically,
for the "Hello Portlet" you will need to add the zpt in skins/myproject, so
that it is accesible in portal_skins.
Then in the profile/default/cps_portlets you should add a new Custom Portlet
and use the zpt as render method (this is equivalent to what you do from ZMI or
from Manage portlets). Finally, in profile/default/cps_portlets.xml add a line
so that your portlet can be created when the profile of your product is
imported.

If you added your portlet from "Manage portlets" you don't need to write xml
code to add the portlet to your profile, go to portal_setup->Export, select
"Portlet Tool" and click "Export selected steps". Take a look at the xml
output, the xml code of your porlet should be over there.

Welcome to CPS, I hope you enjoy. ;-)

Regards.

Hi Mr De la Rosa Triviño

Thank you for your mail.

I had a little problem :

> level):
>
> 1.- Create a new zpt in portal_skins->custom, with
> id hello_username.

I went to the ZMI, then to CPS, portal_skins, but I
found nowhere how to create a zpt in "custom" ?
I did not find "custom" (I use CPS 3.4 on Windows)
(sorry I am a beginner with CPS, I started to work on
it a fews ago... thank you for your understanding)

By the way, may I print the message "hello user_name"
for each user with his own name ?

On the other hand, may I create an independant module
that I could plug to CPS ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Have a nice day !

Christophe
