Depends on your application. If your application has more than 100k
documents then Zope global performances will start to decrease.
Furthermore, by using NXLucene your Zope instance no longer deals with
the search and indexing business which, of course, enhance your app
global performances. As well, the ZODB becomes lighter since the indexes
are not stored within the ZODB itself. And another advantages is that
the NXLucene stores are Lucene compatible stores that you can access
distantly and thus can be used by other non Zope/Python specific
applications.
