Sure. Please stay on the list it might be interesting for others.

Is there a reason why you don´t use Catalog Indexes for your
implementation. What are the advantages of
releasing the CPSLuceneCatalog as a tool in CPS instead of CatalogIndexes?

yes. As I said, One of the goal is to enhance the global Zope
performance. This way Zope doesn't work at all for indexing searching
which is better.

The reason why i ask there are many differences in PloneCatalogTool
between 2.5 and 2.1. I think
if we work with Indexes the migration to an other version of Plone is no
problem.

It should be only a matter of indexes / columns configuration. Does
Plone finally supports GenericSetup now ? Because, like this it should
be basically only a matter of lucenecatalog.xml configuration within
your PloneLuceneCatalog profile for Plone.

Yes GenericSetup is supported unitl version 2.5.

Do you have a working component using NXLucene on Plone now ?

        J.

Hello

the implementation of the PloneLuceneCatalog is generally working.
Espacially indexing works great.

But i have problems with Navigation and Review Portlet. They are very complex in Plone. And i´ve not so much time these days.

Maybe i write a plip to get more power in development on the plone-site.
