Thank you very much for to be so transparent. We really lament this decision, but you should have your reasons for that choice and are, obviously, respectable.

We are developing the new version of our product KMKey using CPS 3. We want to remain and python, because we need and agile development, and becouse we love that language :-)
We do too. It's not the problem. :-)

I'm sure that there are a lot of others like us out there
You say about CPS 3.4: "No new major features will be added from now on but we will continue to release "bug fixing" minor versions".
We have said that we won't add *ourselves* new features to CPS. But it's open source and we would be glad to see contributions to CPS to make it evolve. We do *love* CPS.

Moreover we will continue to support CPS for at least 3 years.

I have two questions:

1) This will include support for new zope releases (zope 2.10, 2.11 and so on) ?
As far as we will be able to do it, yes.

2) To solve the problem of big data storages over ZODB, we are
planning to add to CPS 3 an SQLStorageAdapter. Could this be added to CPS 3.x or not ?
I would recommend to use CPS4 and its JCR ZODB Storage for Jackrabbit (which will store data into SQL at the end).

Thanks for your feedback,

EB.
