I had a problem on Mandrake (as opposed to windows) : The transformation pdf_to_text was looking for the binary pdftohtml instead of pdftotext (I have absolutely no idea why....) Symlinking to pdftotext with a pdftohtml-named link somewhere in the PATH hacked the problem. Do you find anything if you do 'which wvHtml' when logged in with the user zope falls back to? Or for that matter, can you run the wvHtml binary as that user?
