Dear All, The possible inclusion of a CPS version of Infrae's Tramline within the standard CPS distribution is exciting indeed!
I imagine that this is just what one would need if one wanted to develop a large scale CPS digital archive without adversely increasing the size of one's ZODB. Am I right? Another thing I was wondering was whether or not there are plans to enable the material stored by CPS Tramline to be indexed? I notice from: http://svn.viral-prod.com/CPSTramline/trunk/README.txt that indexing is not currently supported, but how splendid it would be if we could anticipate indexing functionality sometime in the future -- though I do realise that this may be non-trivial ;) Kind regards, Richard Mahoney -----Forwarded Message----- From: Nuxeo Repository <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Nuxeo-tickets] [Nuxeo Repository] #1919: Include CPSTramline in CPS-3-Full Date: Fri, 03 Oct 2008 10:34:16 +0000 #1919: Include CPSTramline in CPS-3-Full -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: gracinet | Owner: gracinet Type: task | Status: new Priority: P2 | Milestone: CPS 3.4.7 Component: CPSTramline | Version: TRUNK Severity: normal | Keywords: Tramline -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- CPSTramline is a product for CPS 3.4 that leverages [http://www.infrae.com/products/tramline Tramline], a request interceptor for Apache that dumps attached files to the file system and serves them back, therefore reducing Zope's load in an area where it can't compete with Apache. Up to now, CPSTramline lives in Viral Productions [http://svn.viral- prod.com/CPSTramline/trunk svn repository]. together with the improved version of Tramline it works with. Details about these improvements are in the ```tramline-dev``` mailing-list archives. CPSTramline is for unix systems only and features a strong transactional behavior thanks to that restriction.
