Hi all.

Two weeks ago, the CPSDesignerThemes 0.2 has been tagged. This is a
release intended for developers, not to be used for production, although
I can claim that it works for two sites I'm running.

This milestone is a bit more featured that had been originally planned,
that's why it took more time than expected. Notably, there is a theme
and page negociation system, very similar to CPSSkins' (turned out I
needed it right away).
The roadmap has been updated, you can get it for instance there:
http://www.racinet.org/cps/designer-themes/

The next milestone is 0.3 "quality". This means that no additional
feature will be developped, and we'll focus on bugfixing, standards
conformance and documentation for web designers. We may issue point
releases (0.2.x) in the processs. Any help will be greatly apprecied,
and we are open to suggestions.

>From now on, issues should be referenced in the trac
(CPSDesignerThemes component): https://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/pub
Questions should be asked on this list. In particular, don't email me
personally.

As for the release itself, it's available for the record in
http://www.racinet.org/cps/designer-themes/releases/
but you are encouraged to use a CPS-3-full subversion checkout, since
CPSDesignerThemes is already included and is meant for upcoming 3.5
versions anyway. The checkout URL is
http://svn.nuxeo.org/pub/CPS3/bundles/CPS-3-full/trunk CPS-3

Before you try, please read carefully the requirements
(notably CPSSkins and lxml versions) and installation procedure.
We'll try and improve the user-friendliness in future versions. For now,
it's really important to conform to the instructions (README, INSTALL
files, etc).

As for usage documentation, you'll find drafts in CPSDesignerThemes/doc
themes_management.txt and exporting_from_cpsskins.txt are a must-read.
