I think first you can safely try by copying you CPS site from the top of
the ZMI. MAke a clone of it and try out your stuff first.
The way I always upgrade my CPS' is this
- I install the new CPS stuff into the "Products" directory.
- I restart Zope.
- I follow this:
- Log into the ZMI as manager
- Go to your CPS root directory
- Create an External Method with the following parameters:
id : upgradeDocuments
title : Blabla
Module Name : CPSDocument.upgrade
Function Name : upgradeDocuments
- save it
- then click on the test tab of this external method
I dont know if works with CPS 3.2.x but it works on 3.3.x.
