Hi, you are not actually seeing multiple Portlets. These 2 themes (Autumn and Light-skins) have both boxes and portlets with the same content. To fix the display, after switching to the theme you want, goto "Manage root boxes" and delete all boxes from the Left and Right slots. Then only the portlets appear.
