Hi,

You may design a completely different design for your sections and
workspaces area using CPSSkins (local theme). Here, it's a visual
worksround. This is something CPSDefault doesn't do well at the moment...

You may open a ticket within the trac and expose the problem and
eventually some solutions you've ve been thinking of.
