yes, I've seen these already, but couldn't make too much sense out of
them so far. Another case of "use the source, Luke", right?
Not really, they're exactly like other directories (based on schemas
and layouts, like the documents too) but store in an SQL database
(only postgresql in the current code) instead of LDAP or
ZODB. You have to understand the directory concepts first, of course,
but they reuse standard CPS concepts.
