Hi, I'm not sure how to approach this issue, I am a ZOPE/Python newbie
(dumb user); but here goes Great product - I also looked at PLONE, and find this an easier product to get started with ... Thank you. I downloaded the portal package "CPS for Windows self-installable package, including Python 2.4.2 and Zope 2.9.1, for Windows 2000, XP and later." ... and installed in toto. It worked fine, I created a portal for myself. Running on an old P3/700 Mhz, 320MB memory system on XP SP2. I then pulled down a skin 'ST2' from Chalmers... and installed using the them manager in CPS ... this works fine too. I then pulled down the version of groupware "CPSGroupware is the bundle containing all you need to install the calendar and a webmail client for CPS 3.4 http://www.cps-project.org/static/misc/CPSGroupware-1.9.1-1.tgz" copied the folders into the cps data/products directory - CPSSharedCalendar - Five - iCalendar - CPSMailAccess looked to follow the install.txt files in CPSSharedCalendar & CPSMailAccess .. and I cannot install either the shared calendars (this is not visible in either the ZMI or the portal - maybe I am looking in the wrong place) or the webmail (python comes up with an error like "..python has been compiled with visual studio 7.1 and there aren't extensions ..." Could somebody pls help me ... Where do I go to get a howto installing these products in windows? Alternatively how do I do this install? Where do I find portal_setup? TIA Gaz |
