Thanks, I changed that, but all the HTML pages still have this in the header::

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-15" />

The problem seems to be at the Zope level:

For example, I have a few accented characters (not present in 8859-15) in the portal name itself.

I can enter them in the CPS “Portal Title” box, but on saving they are converted into &#337 and the like.

If I try to change the portal title at the ZMI properties map, I get the following ZMI error:

'charmap' codec can't encode character u'\u0151' in position 26: character maps to

Thanks,

Tivadar

Go into the ZMI at your site root (where you can see all portal_...).
Click on the tab properties. There I think you can set  the default charset

Hello,

I’m trying to store Hungarian language documents in a CPS. Some of the characters not present in 8859-15 (default CPS encoding) appear as e.g. &#337;

How do I change it? (what I need is probably 8859-2, or utf-8 I’m not quite sure).

I searched the list archive, but didn’t really find any straightforward info (I’m a novice to zope/CPS).

I also tried to grep for “8859-15” in the CPS dir, it’s present at a zillion places.

I’m using CPS-3.4.0-3 on Windows XP with the autumn skin.

Thanks a lot,

Tivadar
