I wont even comment. In 5 years in the CMS world there's never been a need to bulk load formatted data? Of any kind?
Of course there has. Loads of them. Each of them with it's own peculiarities.
Be it contacts or address lists or people lists? You do it by hand every time? I was expecting a more credible answer than this.
Yes, and you got a more credible answer, but proceeded to misinterpret it to make it less credible, so that you could ignore it.
I want a CMS. I am resisting it. I just want a better way to define a new content type (be it CPSSchema or Archetype) and load previous data automatically, instead of inserting thousands of records by hand just because "a CMS is not na HTML interface to a bunch of SQL tables".
You don't need to insert thousands of documents by hand. Writing a script for it is usually not a complicated affair. -- Lennart Regebro: Python, Zope, CPS, Plone. +33 661 58 14 64 _______________________________________________ cps-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/listinfo/cps-users
