Create a new Theme Page and from ZMI in portal_themes > Method Themes
Tab add a mapping:
*folder_view = YourTheme+YourCustomPage*

folder_contents. I could put the separation of the rendering into a
customized version of that PT, but it seems to me not the perfect
solution.
