Hello,

As you may have noticed on several occasions, CPS developments
are going on, while at the same time CPS evolution in the long run
is getting clearer and clearer.

New domain name
===============

One of the evolutions is the acquisition of a new domain name:
*cps-cms.org*

We have judged this domain name (cps-cms.org) more adequate as
CPS is now mature and stable. Moreover this new name comes with
ranking or SEO (Search Engine Optimization) advantages.

This new domain name will be used, among other things,
for CPS specific XML namespaces, which will be placed under the
http://cps-cms.org/ns hierarchy. And in a more general manner,
we will progressively move everything CPS under this domain.

In this ongoing effort to have CPS managed by its community,
this new domain name has been purchased by the AFUL, the
French speaking Libre Software Users' Association, which is
a community itself and a big CPS user.

And finally, always in this community management perspective,
true to its Open Source commitment, the Nuxeo company is ceding
the cps-project.org domain name to the AFUL. Thanks again Nuxeo!

New source repository
=====================

We have also setup a new source repository:
http://hg.cps-cms.org/

We are also planning to put the CPS sources in the ADULLACT forge,
which is a forge for states, local authorities and administrative areas,
to ensure the continued long life of the product: http://adullact.net/
What is blocking us in this move right now is the yet non-existing
Mercurial support in the ADULLACT forge. Mercurial support
is planned but if someone could help them, this should go faster.

Web sites
=========

The actual (or old) web site http://www.cps-project.org/
will stay until the new web site http://cps-cms.org/ is ready.
When ready, the old web site will only serve redirections
to the new one.

Cheers,
