It has come to Our attention that official cpunk maillist is swarming
with posts related to "law" and "legal" issues.
This is a sabotage.
Law is just a brainwashing system designed to lower the cost of
maintaining of the status quo. Once entangled in "legal" issues one
becomes a part of the system for maintaining the said status quo.
Most pathetic are references to "constitution", a manifest of thugs
that wanted to get rid of foreign thugs so that they can have a
dominion of their own.
Fuck that.
Cypherpunk Movement is about using technology to overcome law and its
owners and servants. CM is about using mathematics and physics to
neutralize influence of armed gangs in everyday life. It has its
limits, but they have not been reached. Not at all.
So We would like to propose some projects, in pseudo-random order, and
hear your valued opinion about this wish list. Everything starts with
a wish:
1 - exclusively anonymous posting/access to this list. If we can't do
it, no one can. Let's get rid of possibility of meatspace
interference. If you need to feed your ego here you are in deep shit.
2 - development of distributed serverless "web". It becomes clear that
all computer-related threats by armed gangs depend on being able to
locate a stationary machine. There are several technologies available
for this, the most recent one being gnutella distributed directory
service. This should take care of ICANN issues, IP tracking and legal
vulnerability in general.
3 - personal encryption devices that enable crypto everywhere. PGP on
palmtop that can work with internet cafe computers. OCRing the screen
and typing through the keyboard interface. This is doable today.
4 - trial/mock deployment of fully anonymous e-cash. We can use it to
pay for the beer and eloquent denigration of Choate while debugging
and perfecting the system.
