It boggles my mind that there is STILL no multi-platform secure instant
messaging application that I can install without running an obscure form
of Linux or installing (at the expense of every working application currently
on my machine) Python or some crap like that?
All I want is to send secure IMs to my AOL / ICQ contacts. The PGP ICQ
plugin stinks and crashes half the time.
If I could code I'd just make one myself. But I can't.
How hard can it really be to just write a plug-in to do symmetric key encryption
for AIM / ICQ / Yahoo and use out-of-band methods (PGP?) to exchange passwords?
Sheesh.
