I agree that video has an odd effect on it. Seems like today's pop women
have the added requirement that they be Playboy bunnies to boot.

There are the creative artists and their support teams. These people are
not out of business, far from it. 

There are the studios. I think you could argue that technology is making
a dent in that portion of the business.

There are the labels which copy, advertise and distribute. It seems like
this is where technology will be taking the biggest bite. Especially
distribution.

I don't think the music business is dead but I do think that creative
talent is as rare as it has always been. Maybe there will be more and
better music since people don't necessarily have to get their music out
via labels.
