This will not work. Sympatico is implementing "port 25-blocking", i.e.
blocking all traffic TO port 25 (except their smtp-server). This is a
very effective way of preventing sending spam from their dial-in/DSL-
networks. As an unwilling receipiant of many a spam originating from
sympatico.ca, I think this is a good thing(TM).

As for preventing the choke-point for your outbound mail, you should
look for systems outside sympatico.ca's netwerk that can accept
connections at a port != 25 for SMTP delivery (i.e. mailservers running
on port 80 as Declan suggests, proxies) or tunnel a part of your traffic
first (freedom.net, vpn's with others outside sympatico.ca).
