* some of you might know, some might have heard, some don't know about us
yet...
a grouped (in) and (out) media collective we are

maraa*
which in* kannada means tree*
* for many reasons we came together to set up this collective, after several
years of working in the development sector. Community media is our focus and
we hope that the role of media is re'search'ed and reclaimed through this
journey.
**We started work this February and we have been running (literally) since
then, setting ourselves (up) and (down)- from website to payment receipts to
furniture to plants to office space, to registration to stationery,
computers, and our salaries.

* today, it just suddenly feels that we're somehow settling in, and we want
to share with you all that we exist as and for!**
