There is a committee appointed by the MIB to suggest DAVP rates for commercial FM. The same committee headed by Mr Brahma, Cheif Economic advisor, MIB, and DG DAVP, Sunit Tandon and others , have gone through one exercise of meeting some of the representatives of campus community radio stations, and some NGO representatives including Divya from Voices at Baramati. there is a thinking that at least 50-60% of the running expenses of these stations could be met from DAVP rates. I don't know whether a report has been submitted. You might also send in your suggestions to him after talking to him. sreedher
