Dear All I would like to express my protest against 'individual bashing', mudlslinging , on exchange platforms such as Cr-India. Earlier some one tried to do the same even more strongly, but it is the same Vinod Pavarala, who changed the tone to moderation. This time a renowned academic is writing such mails is not in good taste. I am talking about issues and institutions and not about individuals. What are the moderators of this paltform doing ? Is it not within their purview to accept, reject edit such individual references?
Nobody is monopolising any thing . It is the cr forum with its ten intellecuals, activists, social reformers, journalists , or politburo members ( you may call it by any name) who wants their diktat to be followed by everyone in the country. They want their views to be final , the bible to be followed in CR . Instead of making CR an inclusive policy, they would like to make it exclusive. but I appreciate its president, Stalin, who has definitely a better vision, and thinks in broader perspective. A few interactions i had with him recenlty gave me a very high impression of him in the Cr movement. We only help institutions who come to us for help in Delhi . We do not go and convass for it. If CR forum starts a delhi office and starts liasioning with the offices, we will immediately withdraw. We do not charge a pie for our services and we have taken a decision that once the 100th station is in place, we will completely withdraw from the scene. I think by another year, the numbers will be achieved. The screening committee consists of several members and I am one of those 12 members and in fact majority of them are having the same ideology of CR forum. Hence my presence has never helped anyone , in fact , it has only spoilt chances of many since the voice of the representives of CR forum dominates . Before making allegations, please make enquiries with your own members who attend the screening committe meetings. Its role is only of an advisory in nature and the Govt decides by taking more parameters in alloting licenses Last but not the least, people who talk about democracy, have leanings towards some ideologies, the practitioners of which never cared for democratic means. In a large democracy like India, there is a need for respect and understanding .
