Dear all, Dr. Subrahmanya Murthy has kindly sent me copies of the GOPA and WOL issued to Manipal Academy of Higher Education in March/April 2008. Needless to say, these documents are perfectly in order. Though MAHE, through Dr. Murthy, has graciously offered to circulate these documents on cr-india, I don't think that is really necessary.
It is also true that MAHE does not figure in most of the I&B Ministry's official documents -- there are several versions in circulation -- on the status of CR in India. However, many of the ministry's official documents are so dated as to be of purely archival -- if not archaeological -- interest, and too much shouldn't be read into this. Pretty much all that could be said on this issue has been said -- and a little more besides -- and I would like to invoke moderator's privileges to close this thread. Unless, of course, something particulary new and enlightening is on offer. Sajan
