Dear All, This is to announce the closing of call for applications for the New Media for Community Radio workshop to be held in Dharamshala, HP, India, from May 11-14, 2010, titled "Radio-Out-of-the-Box".
We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response we have have received for the new media and community radio workshop which is being conducted by Maraa, with support from Ford Foundation. So far we have received about 50 applications from all over India, and we will contact the selected participants shortly. This is a hands on workshop and we will be selecting participants based on their ability to engage with the various technologies offered in this workshop. Further, due to its practical nature, we can only accommodate about 15 participants who will actively participate in this workshop. If you are not selected for this workshop, please bear with us on this, and we assure you that there will be more of such workshops in the future, and we will definitely try and accommodate more people in the future.
