Dear All, Its so sad to know that irregularity of huge amount is found in Ministry of Agriculture in the name of Community Radio. Ministry of Agriculture has sanctioned huge amount to different CR applicant organisations of different states under ATMA scheme. Strange to know that the concerned guideline says only valid license holder can apply for this support, but a number of LOI holders have received this grant whereas numbers of license holders and operating CRs are waiting for support and strugling. Thier applications are unbreathed under red file. As we know LOI is not a license , also its quoted in front page of the LOI letter. LOI holder is not gurarented to get license as there are several steps after LOI to get license (WOL) i.e. SACFA, Frequency Allocation, GOPA. The LOI holder is also waiting for years to get WOL. So what will be the utility of ATMA grant if LOI holder will not get WOL for any reason?
Its strange to know that how the state govt is violating the guideline of Ministry of agriculture and recommending LOI holders for this grant and avoiding WOL holder and operating CRs?
