Rs 20,000 for a radio station whose signal reaches 40-50 km? That's refreshing
to know[every day, in every way, I learn something new].

No, wait, that's maybe only for the 'exclusive frequency'. Silly me. Presumably
the village will use the Rs 10,000 per day they saved on liquor to pay for
everything else.

One might be tempted to think that people who had the self-reliance to achieve
all those other things (other than eschewing liquor, I mean) might also tell
the state government to take a walk for the two day's liquor bill, and pay for
the 'exclusive radio frequency' themselves. They might save the state the 30 or
40 lacs it was planning to spend on the station inauguration.
