Dr Sreedher,
No one is denying that CRAI was the first to raise the fees alarm bells. While
Aruna Roy's letter clearly mentions CRAI as meeting Sibal, the news story on
www.millenniumpost.in does not. I don't think there is any mal-intention here -
just an editor who probably needed to fit the news in a limited number of
column centimetres.

If the news stands verified, this is the result of a collective effort of a
community of community radio broadcasters and activists.

Regards

I saw the post in Cr india. i had taken a vow not to give my views on any
subject on this post. But If the name of the community radio association who
met the minister along with an MP  which also finds a place in Ms Roys letter,
is wantonly omitted in this post, i cannot but express my anguish.

I do hope that the news item is true and orders issued soon.
