Dear all,
As we all know last year witnessed a considerable slowdown in the CR
sector and now there are prediction that even 2013 is going to be "tough".
Its time we all start thinking about expanding the scope of this
network and include community media and its other forms and technology.
There are groups among us which are working on other forms like
community theatre, art (maraa), community video (Video Volunteer). But
there are many other such groups across India which are not part of our
network.
CG Swara and Gunj are classic examples of community media. With the
penetration of mobile the access to internet is also on a rise even
though it is comparatively expensive but we have no reason to ignore
internet radio as a possible media.
I think we should start bouncing ideas.
