It doesn't help anyone's argument to call people 'idiots' and say their
views are a 'crock of shit'. I'd like us to avoid this. Many people think
that to deny global warming (as Jose does) is the pure sign of idiocy, but
it is better to stick to the issues and argue them and not badmouth people
needlessly. Although I don't agree with Jose on curcial matters like global
warming, I know that he is a clever writer about other things that do
matter. What concerns me is that we focus on the issues. John Bunzl and
Georges Drouet, who is active on the WSN list, are taking intitiatives which
seem extraordinarily valuable to me and I don't want to lose their input and
I don't want them badmouthed.
