Can I just make this small general observation: about half our subscribers here on Crashlist live outside Western states and often have bad and expensive communications. Some people have left the list because they just cannot deal (technically) with the incoming volume. One way to help is to be sure to snip the original post when making replies, and only quote when essential, which will save huge space + bandwidth. Another is to be careful not to let enthusiasm lead us into one line dittoing, where a 10-page (or whatever) posting is repeated verbatim, with the reamrk 'yes! I agree!' added. Writing clearly and avoiding typos is also important, but as I'm the worst offender at that, I'll shut up now.
